No Credit Check Cash Advances

When you have a pressing need for cash, the no-credit-check cash advance is a very handy tool to liberate you from financial worries. Generally, these types of loans are of short-term duration, and the loan amounts range anything from $100 to $1000. As a rule, the more you earn the larger the loan you will be eligible for.

Since no-credit-check cash advances are small, you cannot use them for bigger payments like paying off your car or other heavy expenditures. The lending firm or agent receives his due upon the arrival of your next paycheck, so financial experts advise you to make arrangements before they debit the amount from your account.

No-credit-check cash advances will overlook your previous credit history so you don?t have to worry about your credit scores. All you have to do is to prove your employment and earning details. However, the service fee charged by the lending organizations is very high; hence, one should avoid using this facility regularly.

Applying for these kinds of loans is simple. After you finish the application process the money is usually credited to your account in less than twenty-four hours. Before signing the forms of any specific company make sure you have gone through the offers of different players in the market.

An online search will show you the rates offered by the popular lending companies, and you can easily compare the rates and terms before you decide. Use the online calculators offered by these websites, which help you calculate the cost involved in prepayments and penalty fees.

Keep yourself informed and read the columns of loan experts who give valuable tips on the latest trends in the industry and the best lenders in the country. You can avail the offers of companies who offer attractive discounts and schemes for their patrons. With an informed choice you can get the best no-credit-check cash advance available in the lending market.

Computer Speed Check

As technology advances, speed is a critical factor determining the efficiency of a computer. Compared to the machines in market today, the first computers were slow and sluggish. Competition resulted in manufacturers churning out CPUs with twice and thrice the speed of an existing model and the race is never ending. With the new Intel chip, the market saw new PCs with faster speeds. Speed rating is stamped on all the chips and it is measured in MHz {Mega-Hertz}

The central processing unit or CPU in a computer contains the chip where the speed is measured in clock cycles. Fast CPU chips do not, on their own, make a computer fast. The hard disk drive of the computer should be fast enough. Adding a hard disk cache is recommended because it speeds up the disk drive.

Checking the hardware system in entirety is essential to maintain speedy performance. Many applications run simultaneously on a system. Change process priorities need to be assigned so that more resources could be added to important tasks. Inadequate RAM {Random Access Memory} can also cause performance problems and affect the speed.

Unnecessary programs running in the background could also hamper speed. Experts recommend removing freeware shareware and plugins. Suspect programs like spyware create a slow startup and can hamper the speed. Registry errors and useless programs also slow down the computer. Slow start up is usually due to an overloaded registry.

Speed checks for the Internet will create smoother workflow. Deleting a few unnecessary desktop and shortcut icons also often helps improve speed. Settings in the BIOS can increase the processor speed but care needs to be taken not to let it go faster than what it was designed for. Otherwise, the processor will heat up and the fan may be inadequate to cool it down.

The above factors point out that upgrading the computer or buying a new super speed chip are to be considered only after the above simple options to improve the speed are exhausted. Before spending dollars on a faster CPU, the use and the application of the machine need to be evaluated.

Your Ezine 13 Formatting Checklist

While sending out a text e-zine may seem like a piece of cake, there's more to it than you may think. *Good formatting* is the name of the game. Here's a handy checklist I use to make sure each of my issues is in great shape BEFORE I send it out. Please be my guest and use it for yourself!

1. Are all lines 65 characters or less?

More than that and your missive may come through looking messy to many subscribers. End each line with a hard return by pressing the 'enter' key.

2. Have you made sure there's no auto-formatting, such as bolding, italics, or underlining?

These features don't translate well in e-mail and can come out looking mighty strange on the other end. Instead, emphasize words or phrases with *asterisks,* 'quotation marks,' or ALL CAPS ... sparingly.

3. Are all sections neatly separated?

Use underscores (_____), asterisks (******), another nifty symbol ($$$$$, %%%%, @@@@), or a combination thereof (==) to help define each area and help your readers skim your issue more easily.

4. Do all Web links include 'http://' before them?

Some e-mail programs won't automatically hyperlink a URL in your text without this prefix. So don't take a chance -- make it easy for your readers to click and link, especially to YOUR site!

5. Do all e-mail links include 'mailto:' before them?

Same idea here: Some e-mail programs won't automatically hyperlink an e-mail address in your text without it. Be sure to leave no space between the colon and the first character of the address.

6. Is your masthead at the very top?

The masthead, or 'nameplate,' typically features your e-zine name, your name, your e-mail address, your Web address, and the correct date, volume number, and issue number. Make it the FIRST thing your readers see.

7. Have you reminded your readers right away that this is a
*subscription* publication?

Don't let them forget that they *asked* to receive this! Something like this right under your masthead will do: 'You've received this e-zine because you subscribed to it! If you wish to unsubscribe, please scroll to the end for more information.'

8. If you have a table of contents (TOC), do its listings match this issue's articles and features?

For example, if your TOC says your second feature in this issue is an article on Web site marketing, make sure it's right!

9. Have you included a copyright notice?

At the end of your content, before your contact info, post '(c)' immediately followed by the year and your name or your company's name. You should know that a copyright notice does not protect your ideas - instead, it protects the way you express them.

10. Are the correct advertisements in place?

Keep track of all your ad swaps and purchases in one main document to make this easy to look up each time. I use an Excel spreadsheet, which works great for me.

11. Do you give clear subscribe and unsubscribe instructions at the bottom?

Include subscribe instructions, because your e-zine will likely get passed on to others who'd like to sign up. The unsubscribe instructions are just BECAUSE - it's plain courtesy, and the law of the land. : )

12. Does your subject line include both the name of your e-zine and the issue topic?

By seeing your e-zine title, your recipients will know the e-mail is not spam. And by seeing the issue topic, they will know what's in store for this issue. Example: 'Sara's Cash Flow Tips: Increase Your Income Today!'

13. Have you sent a test of the issue to yourself or an associate?

Make sure it comes through reading well and looking great! (Check for any strange symbols that magically appear, odd breaks in the copy, inactive links, etc.) And this is a GREAT time to give it a final proofread.

New Technology Revolutionizes Check Collection

New Technology Revolutionizes Check Collection

Bad checks are a growing problem in the US economy. According to a 2001 study conducted by Global Concepts for the Federal Reserve, an estimated 300 million checks bounce per year, costing retailers over $200 billion.
Until recently, merchants had limited options for check collection: They could take the check and pray it didnt bounce; they could have a cash only policy and leave potential money on the table; they could use a service such as check guarantee. Unfortunately, for many small businesses, the latter option was not feasible because of cost issues. Now a new player has emerged on the block: free electronic check re-presentment, also known as RCK.
The RCK industry sprang up as a result of new regulations approved by NACHA (National Automated Clearing House Association) in November 1999. RCK processors offer their services at no cost to the merchant. Unlike check verification, the merchant does not need any special equipment or software. The merchant simply signs a few simple forms instructing their bank to send the bad check to the RCK processor. The processor electronically recovers the full face value of the check for the merchant and then electronically deposits the funds into the merchants bank account. The processor makes money by charging the check writer a fee based on state law, normally around $25-$30. NACHA projects that the use of electronic re-presentment could increase the rate of successful collection by 25 to 50 percent.
These are some of the benefits to the merchant of using electronic re-presentment
Improves Collection Results By As Much As 50 Percent
Faster And More Efficient Than Paper Process
Lower Bank Fees, Eliminates Second And Third Bounce Charges To Merchant
Small Value Checks Can Be Collected Cost Effectively
Merchant can keep track of checks in the recovery process
Collected funds are automatically deposited into merchant's account
Electronic Items Have Priority Over Paper Checks
These are some benefits for the check writer
Wont ruin check writers credit
No hassles from overaggressive collection agencies
No embarrassing phone calls from merchant
There are, however, limitations to be aware of when using a RCK service. Per NACHA guidelines, business checks, payroll checks, 3rd party checks, checks over 180 days old, and checks that are over $2500 cannot be processed electronically. Many RCK processors also offer free secondary collection through a collection attorney for these checks.
The merchant must post all proper notifications, which are normally provided at no charge by the RCK processor. This can take the form of a sign posted in the store or verbiage to add to customer receipts and contracts.
Overall, RCK is an excellent solution for merchants looking for a simpler method of check collection.

Testing SCR - How To Test And Check Silicon Controlled Rectifier

Testing SCR (silicon controlled rectifier) can be done by using an analog multi meter or specialize tester (such as the Peak electronic atlas component analyzer) designed to check semiconductor devices easily. SCR can be found in many electronic circuits. Part numbers such as the FOR3G and MCR 100-6 were very common used in computer monitor. Some called SCR as thyristor but in actual fact the word thyristor should not be associated exclusively with the silicon controlled rectifier. It is in fact a general name given to all four layer PNPN devices including the commonly used SCR. The diac, the Triac, and the SCS are the other popular devices belonging to the family of thyristors.

SCR consists of three pin of Gate (G), Anode (A) and Cathode (C). In order to identify the pin out, one must find it from semiconductor data book such the famous Philips ECG master semiconductor replacement guide. The data book will list out the general specification of the SCR such as the volt and ampere. If you want to know more details about a particular SCR, you can always try to search from the internet. Usually the SCR manufacturers will provide the full datasheet for those who want it.

Once you know the pin outs of the G, A and C legs you can begin to test the SCR. If you have the Peak electronic atlas component analyzer tester, what you need to do is to connect the three small clips to each pin of the SCR (any part number will do). The tester will begin to analyze the SCR and prompt you with the display such as ?Sensitive or low power thyristor? before it tells you the exact pin outs of G, A and C. After the first test, the tester will eventually show you the answer at the LCD display. Red is Gate, Green is Cathode and Blue is Anode. It is a simple process and you will know the answer in less than 10 seconds. If there is a problem in the SCR, the tester would not be able to show the results instead it shows a shorted reading.

If you don?t have this tester for checking SCR, I?m showing you another easy way on how to test SCR fast. You need an analog meter set to X1 ohm. Place the red probe to the Cathode and black probe to the Anode pin. At this time the meter doesn?t show any reading. Now gently move the black probe and touch the Gate pin (the black probe still touching the Anode pin) and you will notice the meter?s pointer will kick as shown at the picture (low resistance).

Removing the black probe from the GATE pin (the black probe still touching the Anode pin) you would noticed that the resistance continues to be there (low resistance). This is due to the conduction of SCR as the meter battery is usually able to supply current more than the holding current. If at this stage you removed the black probe from the Anode pin and connect it back, the pointer will dropped back to infinity (high resistance). If the SCR could hold the resistance then the SCR is considered good. If it can?t hold then the SCR is faulty.

Conclusion- Practice testing SCR more often to see how?s the result like. Try some different part numbers and power SCR-and if the resistance don?t hold using X1 ohm, you may try X10 ohm and etc.

Advice on Performing Online Background Checks

Several popular websites are available for background checks online. A few of the most popular are E-Background Check, U.S. Search, Net Detective Plus and Best People Search. These websites offer a variety of levels of investigation, depending upon the employers needs.

Several popular websites are available for background checks online. A few of the most popular are E-Background Check, U.S. Search, Net Detective Plus and Best People Search. These websites offer a variety of levels of investigation, depending upon the employers needs.

Some of the information gathered is instant, however for more detailed reports, employers should expect a wait from anywhere between 1 and 7 days. Most of the major background search firms online understand the importance of adhering to the strict laws outlined in the Fair Credit Reporting Act. The Act prohibits certain information (i.e. bankruptcies over 10 years old, criminal charges without convictions, etc.) from being considered in the pre-employment process. It is important that employers utilize the services of a competent professional who understands the needs and legal obligations of the company.

Perform a search in any major search engine for the query free background check. You will certainly be overwhelmed with the search results and paid advertisements regarding offers for free background searches. If this is the first time you have attempted to perform a free background check, you may be in for a surprise.

Most investigative firms suggest that you outsource the background checks for your company. This generally means that free background checks do not provide the quality information that you need. Free background checks online do not always give the employer accurate or thorough information required by law. While it is true that most people are not trying to hide information from employers, it is those who have a background of avoiding legal action, whether it be child support obligations or criminal action, by moving from state-to-state or even in more extreme cases, falsifying their identities. Because of the easy access to information, it has made the job of con-artists even easier. Often times, free backgrounds checks on the Internet are not enough to screen for potential red flags.

Other experts in the investigation field recommend using searches in public records if the search is not of the most sensitive nature or is not necessarily one that has to be completed immediately. Websites that claim the too-good-to-be true advertising that they offer completely free background checks, are not being completely honest. An accurate and thorough background investigation takes time, and lots of it. This is the reason that private investigators charge a fee. They have access to databases and other areas that retrieves information about the prospective employee. It is usually in the best interest of the employer to dish out the $25+ in order to: 1.) limit their time spent on endless searches, 2.) to ensure accurate and thorough information and 3.) gain peace-of-mind that their decision to hire the applicant is a sound decision.

Buying a Car? Check Your Credit Score First

Do you check your credit score and credit report before you go shopping for a car? You might find out that it is well worth your while to do so, as some auto dealers are taking advantage of the fact that many consumers do not know their credit scores.

No one likes buying a car; the entire process is awkward and cumbersome. Most items we buy are plainly marked with the price, but with cars, the price is often a mystery. Then you have to haggle with a salesman and hope that you have worked out the best price possible. Having done that, you have to arrange financing. You can often get an acceptable interest rate when financing through the dealer, but some dealers are padding their bottom line by offering loans at higher rates than they otherwise might.

The scam works like this - You negotiate your best price with the dealer and you agree to finance through them. You fill out the credit application and hand it over to the salesman, who has promised you some reasonable terms. He takes off to process the application and to check your credit report while you have a cup of coffee. He returns a few minutes later, shaking his head. He informs you that your credit score is only 600 and that you will not qualify for the interest rate he offered you. He says that you will have to pay a higher rate. And not knowing any better, you agree.

Had you done your homework by checking your credit score ahead of time, you would have known your actual credit score and you could have pointed out that the salesman's assessment of your credit score was incorrect. At that point, you could insist upon receiving the more favorable interest rate or threaten to finance elsewhere. This is a common scam that works because most people really do not know their exact credit score.

Learning your credit score is easy. All you have to do is visit the Websites of one of the three major credit bureaus - Experian, Trans Union or Equifax. For a modest fee, you can receive a copy of your credit report with your credit score. Armed with this useful piece of information, you can shop for a car with a bit more peace of mind, knowing ahead of time whether or not you can qualify for the best financing.

Time Killer Checklist: Are You Suffering From Them?

I bet you're frustrated over never having enough time to get everything done in the day. There are only a fixed number of hours in the day, and no matter how hard we wish for it that will never change.

Unfortunately, most people find they have too little time to get everything done because they have several time killers in their life - things that take up much more time than they should. Here are 5 common time killers, as well as tips on how you can avoid them.

Poor Equipment

Have you ever had to wait for your computer to start up, or a file you need to open, or even a photocopier to make the copies you need? Perhaps your computer is even crashing constantly, forcing you to restart several times a day.

Often these problems come about from buying the cheapest option, or not maintaining the equipment properly. It's a false economy to do either - the few dollars you save is vastly outweighed by the cost of the time you lose. Fix or replace any such equipment as soon as possible.

Telephone Calls

The telephone is a two-edged sword. When used correctly, it can be a great time saver. But at times it can be another time killer.

Always know exactly what you are going to say before you call someone. Quickly identify yourself, and once you are talking to the right person cover what you need to and hang up. No casual chatting!

If you are receiving calls, and/or have a mobile, decide on fixed times when you will and won't answer the phone. For a normal phone you can screen your calls. For a mobile, simply turn it off and let the calls go through to voicemail. Then pick a later time to go through all the messages, and only answer the ones that are important.

People who won't stop talking

We've all met them - they love the sound of their own voice, and just won't stop talking. Unfortunately, saying you have to go rarely works. Your best bet is to avoid them where you can. If you receive calls from them, screen your calls (perhaps using caller ID) so you don't have to talk directly to them.

Traffic jams

Everyone living in the city has run into traffic jams at some time or another. While there isn't any way to get through a traffic jam any faster, you do have a few options.

Consider leaving earlier (or later), to avoid the traffic. If that's not possible, investigate public transport options like the subway. Finally, see if there is something else you can do in the car at the same time - perhaps listen to a training CD, or get a lift with someone else and do your work while they deal with the traffic!

Meetings

Meetings can be huge time killers, especially if there is no clear agenda for the meeting. If possible, avoid going to meetings that you don't have to attend. If you can't escape a meeting, encourage the use of a fixed agenda so everyone knows what should be covered. This allows people to (hopefully) gather their thoughts ahead of time, and will limit off-topic conversation.

We all suffer from time killers in our life. The people who are successful know how to identify those time killers, and how to avoid them.
